Spanish Medical Interpreter

Under minimal supervision from the Director of Language and Hospitality Services, provides onsite Spanish-English interpretations for Patients, Healthcare Providers, and other ancillary Medical Center staff for onsite appointments (including inpatient rounds, family meetings, and educational teachings) with or without interpretation equipment, as well as interpretation via video and phone as needed. Skilled at interpreting in the consecutive and simultaneous modes, as well as sight translation. Completes written translations of medical records, correspondence, educational materials, and other documents in a timely and accurate manner. Rotates with other onsite interpreters to manage administrative duties, including but not limited to: correspondence with clinics and hospital units, answering department phone to assist callers, entering assignments into department database, scheduling vendors, and dispatching assignments in an equitable manner. Assists with departmental projects and education/outreach to hospitals and clinics. Manager of Undergraduate Student Services

The Manager of Undergraduate Student Services is charged with staffing the inaugural Undergraduate Student Services Office (USSO) in the Fielding School of Public Health (FSPH). Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Academic Programs, the USSO focuses exclusively on undergraduate academic advising, admissions, outreach, recruitment, and is responsible for developing and implementing enrichment programs, academic policies, and advising practices in consultation with program leadership and the faculty advisory committee. Business Office Manager

The incumbent is responsible for managing all funds in the Department of English and Writing Programs (which includes ESL and the Undergraduate Writing Center) including fund control and financial projections. Collectively, English and Writing Programs make up one of the largest departments in the College with a combined budget of over $22 million. The Business Office is currently staffed by the incumbent and one Financial Services Analyst 2. Chief Administrative Officer

The CAO of South Kaplan Hall works independently to support the teaching, research and public service mission of a large administrative group within the College of Letters and Sciences. The group is comprised of: Comparative Literature; Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Studies (LGBTQS); and Slavic, East European and Eurasian Languages and Cultures (SEEELC). The activities of the CAO have a significant impact on every area of departmental activity, requiring and understanding the research and academic objectives and workings of each department/program. Directly supervises 4 career staff, and supports 21 Senate faculty, as well as emeriti faculty, visiting faculty, lecturers, teaching assistants, readers, tutors and graduate student researchers. Digital Communications Specialist

The Institute for Research on Labor and Employment (IRLE) Digital Communications Specialist will work to increase the visibility of the IRLE and the Labor Studies academic program. Specifically, the Communications Specialist will engage the center’s networks by producing timely and strategic content for the IRLE and Labor Studies website and multiple social and multimedia platforms. Program Manager (Assistant III)

UCLA Anderson School of Management is seeking a Program Manager.  The Program Manager plays an instrumental role in supporting key areas of the MFE program. They will provide support to the MFE program in 3 core areas: (1) Finance and operations (FO) (2) Student affairs and enrollment support (SAES) and (3) Event and Class Management.

The MFE Program Manager will work with the Executive Director to provide high quality results in Finance and operations support. They will serve as primary management support to the Finance and operations aspects of the MFE program.

Primary tasks for SAES include oversight of student registration, enrollment and partnering with the registrar as needed. Event Management entails oversight in collaboration with the MFE team on major events such as orientation and graduation, as well as student workshops and events. The Program Manager provides class Management by supporting faculty as appropriate on MFE courses. This includes coordinating with faculty each quarter for course scheduling, course registration, room reservations and exam coordination with TA’s.
