Through practical strategies, like clarifying your core networking goals, practicing meaningful outreach, and sustaining relationships over time, you’ll learn how to create a network that feels both human and high‑impact.
Speaker Bio: Lola Ivy, M.S., is the Professional & Career Development Coordinator for UCLA Learning and Organizational Development team. She manages the Staff Enrichment Program, a cohort-based, year-long professional development initiative that develops future leaders. She also provides ad hoc training and facilitation for individual departments and offers career coaching as a certified coach. Before this role, Lola served as the Associate Director of Student Affairs for UCLA Summer Sessions, where she managed a team of student affairs officers and oversaw student services for both UCLA and visiting students enrolled in summer courses and programs.
Lola received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from UCLA and her master’s degree in organizational leadership and learning from Pepperdine University. She is currently serving as Board Chair of the UCLA Administrative Management Group (AMG) and secretary for the Association of Talent Development – Orange County (ATD-OC) board.
