Letter from the Chair
LETTER FROM THE CHAIR
Greetings, AMG members. I hope everyone is having a great spring quarter. Over at AMG, we have a barrel full of activities that should involve anyone interested in professional development and career growth. Our second Leadership Conference (on Embracing Change) was a huge success, with over 400 individuals attending a scintillating all-day event at the Luskin Conference Center. Details can be found in this newsletter and on our website. Looking forward, May promises to be exciting, with an authors series talk by Professor Hal Herschfield on May 29th. On May 23rd, our annual Excellence Awards ceremony will be held in the Gordon Neuroscience Research Building Auditorium. And, our new RAMP program (Research Administrators Mentorship Program) will also be launching. There is a famous Chinese proverb, may you live in interesting times. At UCLA, these times are indeed most interesting.
If you have any thoughts, questions, suggestions, or just want to chat, please feel free to reach out to us at amgbruin@ucla.edu.
