AMG COVID-19

Dear AMG Leadership Conference Attendees:

Thank you for registering for the 2020 UCLA Administrative Management Group Leadership Conference, to be held April 14, 2020 at the Luskin Conference Center.  We are excited for you to join us for our outstanding agenda.

We want you to be aware that we are closely monitoring the situation with COVID-19.  We are following the guidance of health officials; there is currently no recommendation to avoid attending large conferences.  We are in contact with our partners at Luskin and UCLA Health regarding any updates.  We are ensuring that hand sanitizer stations are available.  We want to reiterate that you can prevent the spread of COVID-19 by taking other precautions like washing your hands frequently and for at least 20 seconds, containing coughs into a tissue or sleeve, and staying home if you are sick, especially if you have a respiratory illness and fever. If you develop flu-like symptoms — fever, cough and difficulty breathing — and are concerned that you may have been exposed to COVID-19, please seek medical attention.

We will continue to update you on the conference and any impact COVID-19 may have.  We look forward to seeing you in mid-April.
