DESCRIPTION:In this practical workshop\, you’ll learn the current trends in resume writing that will help you stand out of from the competition. Participants will have the opportunity to practice turning a typical resume bullet into a results-oriented accomplishment statement that hiring managers are looking for. Quick tips for cover letters will also be discussed. To get the most out of the activities\, please bring a copy or have access to your current resume. \nMegan Eigenbrod\, MS\nTraining and Career Development Coordinator\, UCLA Campus Human Resources \nMegan Eigenbrod is the Training and Career Development Coordinator for UCLA Campus Human Resources. Megan fosters the professional development of UCLA administrative staff by providing training in leadership development\, communication skills\, and presentation design and delivery. Megan received her Master’s in Counseling and a Graduate Certificate in Career Counseling from California State University Northridge. She has presented at several conferences including the Strengths in Educational Leadership Conference hosted by the Gallup Organization.
