DESCRIPTION:You are invited to attend Ascend 101: Intro to Ascend\, a Town Hall Meeting for UCLA’s campus-wide initiative that will transform the University’s financial systems with Oracle Cloud technology in the summer of 2020. Anyone who is involved in financial transactions and/or budgeting at UCLA will be impacted by Ascend\, so your attendance and participation is crucial. \n  \nThis hour-long Town Hall will cover: \n\nThe Ascend Project goals\, timeline\, leadership and implementation process\nUpcoming changes to UCLA’s Chart of Accounts\, expense reimbursements and purchasing\nChange Management resources\nOpen Q&A session\n\n  \nAbout Ascend \nAdditional information about Ascend can be found on the project website\, which also includes a project launch video\, highlighting key takeaways for the initiative. \n  \nDates \nAscend is hosting multiple Town Halls for the Staff Assembly and Administrative Management Group (AMG) on the following dates: \nTuesday\, January 22nd   9 – 10 a.m.       RPB Auditorium \nTuesday\, January 29th   1 – 2 p.m.         Ackerman – Grand Salon \n  \nSign-Up to Attend \nTo ensure there is enough seating\, we ask that you sign-up for the Town Hall presentation you would like to attend.
